Setting up Surveys and Publishing to Students
Create a Survey
Go to Administration > Center Management > Surveys and click New Survey
- Type the Survey Name in the name field.
- Select how the survey will be displayed to users at Display To User.
- Select Select the Survey Trigger, which determines whether the survey’s sending will be triggered by the student using a sign-in kiosk, or by logging into Accudemia.
- Select the Sign-in Basis, which will be the item the student selects that triggers the survey to run. For example, if the Sign-in Basis is a specific Service, the survey will trigger to students who select this service. Note that this option will only be available if the Survey Trigger is Sign In/Out.
- Select Show At, which determines where the student will be asked to take the survey.
- Select which types of users the survey will be sent to. Note that Instructors and System Users can only receive surveys with the Accudemia Login Survey Trigger.
- Click Save Changes, or scroll down to Advanced Settings.
Advanced settings
This option sets the start date and end date of the survey, and when it should be displayed. Remind after and Force answer after will force or remind users to answer the survey after a specified amount of time.
Questionnaire
The questionnaire determines the look of the survey, including what questions are asked, the type of responses allowed (multiple choice or text response), and whether each question is required. A questionnaire can have multiple pages. Use the Preview option to verify the presentation of the survey.
