Setting Staff Assignments
How to Access: User Accounts > Tutors > Select a Tutor > Click the Tutor Assignments Tab.
Purpose: This section determines which Subject Areas or courses a tutor can assist with. The tutor can either be made available for all Subject Areas, or for individual courses by selecting the Term and then the course.
- Navigate to the Administration > User Accounts section from the main menu.
- On the left-side filters click Only next to the Tutors filter.
- Select the tutor and click the Assignments button at the top of this screen.
- A message will appear: What do you want to do with assignments?
- Edit <Staff Member>'s assignments manually - This assigns Subject Areas that the staff member can help with. After selecting this option, click on the Tutor Assignments tab, search for their Subject Areas they teach, and select each one. Be sure to click the Save Changes button after assigning the staff subjects.
- Copy assignments from another semester - Select this option to copy Subject Area Assignments from another Term that the staff member has helped with before. Courses can be added or removed after copying.
- Import assignments from a different source - Subject Area Assignments can be imported from a CSV file. More information can be found in the ADX Imports and Exports section.
