Entering a Tutor Schedule
The Staff Schedule can be entered by administrators, or by the staff/tutors themselves if they have the required permissions.
Go to Center Attendance > Tutor Schedule to edit the Tutor Schedule.
To edit as an Administrator:
- Click Tutor Schedule under Center Attendance on the left-side navigation.
- To edit, click and drag the mouse to create blocks.
- Once a shift has been created, a dialog box will open with configuration options.
- Click Save to make these changes on the Tutor's schedule.
Copy the Tutor's Schedule to Other Tutors
- Load the schedule that should be the source of the copy by typing the tutor's name in the search box and click “Apply Filter”.
- When the schedule has loaded, click on the “Copy” button on the top right corner.
- When working in the semester's edit mode, the following window will pop up:
If working in the semester's edit mode, only the events defined for this semester will be copied except for the events declared as exceptions. If working in the exceptions only edit mode, a pop-up window will appear as shown in the image below:
While working in the semester's edit mode, only the events defined as exceptions will be copied to the destinations. Select to copy the exceptions in the entire semester or only the ones in the specified period.
If working in the merged edit mode, the same pop-up shown above will appear, but in this case, all events that match the copy criteria will be copied to the destinations, no matter if they’re defined in the semester's mode or they’re exceptions.
As shown, the subject areas and location from the source schedule can also be automatically assigned. Check that option if all destinations should have the same subject areas as the source schedule.
