Collecting Attendance Data

Accudemia provides three ways to collect attendance data for classes and SI sessions: Classroom Sign-in Stations, the Accudemia Roll Call feature, and the iAccu app (used with an iOS device).

To collect Attendance in Accudemia using a Classroom Sign-in Station

  1. Create a sign in station for a classroom.
  2. Students will sign in to his class using the station.
Administrators can edit the classes schedule if the class does not show.

All the sign-ins will be collected at SI Class Attendance> Attendance.

  1. Select Semester/Term.
  2. Select Class.
  3. Select Class Session.
See this short video with an example on how to take attendance for a class using a Class Sign-in Station. The date, time, and location for the class has already been configured, so the system recognizes this information and each student gets signed-in/out to each class

To collect attendance in Accudemia using Roll Call:

View and edit SI Class Attendance using the Centers > Attendance option (Roll Call). Select the class, then the specific session. Move students from the 3 different areas(PRESENT STUDENTS, BEYOND CUT-OFF / EXCUSED ABSENT STUDENTS, ABSENT STUDENTS) using the action buttons in the top of the form.

See this short video with an example on how to take attendance for a class with 3 students. In the video 2 students are moved from the ABSENT to the PRESENT status, while a 3rd student is declared as TARDY for 5 minutes.
