Campus Settings

Purpose: This area of the Control Panel sets how the users interact with the social features. It includes the following areas:

  • Engagement Board: Use this section of the Control Panel to configure the engagement board options available to your users.
  • Book$mart: Configure the options available to your students when using this section of Accudemia.
  • Resource (Room) Reservations: This section allows you to disable/enable this feature and set up rules for room reservations.
  • Campus Compass: Configure the way the Campus Compass will guide your students to the Services they need them most.
  • Activity Module: Use this section of the Control Panel to configure how and what users can interact with the Activities section of Accudemia.

Contol Panel > Public Forum Settings

Throughout this guide this college icon will indicate a College-wide only setting. Meaning that you cannot set this setting at the Center-level and must decide among the Centers what setting you would like to use.

All settings in Accudemia shown with the Default notation on the far right side are used as template values at the College-level for new Centers created after these are set. Not to worry though because these settings can be overwritten at the Center-Level as needed. In this guide, these settings will not have any icon to indicate they can be overwritten for clarity as most items can be adjusted at the Center-level.

TIP: If you would like to see the change history of each of these settings you can click the green Show History button on the top bar:

Once you do simply click on the history icon to see changes to that setting. These changes will only be kept logged for 90 days so any setting set before this time means that it was not recently changed.
