The Home Page can be customized by your AccuCampus administrators, it usually shows information about your School, Notifications, upcoming events, or To-Do lists related to the user. You can access the Home Page at any time by clicking on your school logo in the top left corner of the screen.

The following screenshot is shown as an example because your Home Page could look somewhat different depending on the configuration/design of your AccuCampus.

  • Seminars/Events- Notice that in this example, a Seminar Section was added under the School news section, in this case, this section shows the upcoming Seminars for this user.

Center Charts (all Locations) and Location-specific Charts

  • General charts(all locations), which also could be interpreted as college-wide charts, show the data result regardless of the location (as if the data is accumulated from all the locations).
  • Location-specific Charts are similar to Center Charts but they further add location information.
  • Both charts data follow scope settings. You would likely set their visibility role to Administrator. But each and every Administrator wouldn't see the same charts. For example, a college-wide administrator sees all the data. An administrator, who is scoped only to Math and Writing centers would only see the data pertaining to visits done to those centers.
    • This would also affect the locations shown on location charts. Even if the college-wide administrator sets, say 10 locations in the graph, the administrator who has access to only Math and Writing would only see those (provided they are in the locations set to be shown).
  • Default data period is the current semester. If the current date is not in an active semester, then the default period is the last 16 weeks. All but the “Daily Visits” heatmap chart use this period. “Daily Visits” heatmap data period is the last 12 months.
  • Most of the charts have a small toolbar on top of that shows options for “Detailed”, “Stacked” and “%”.
    • “Detailed” means data values are shown on their own and all the values in a –“group”– constitute a category. For example, for Weekly Visits chart, given a week, the values for Monday, TuesdaySunday are a group for that week. Each shows as a separate data value.
    • In “Stacked” mode data values are stacked and a single value for their sum is shown. In column and bar charts, within that single bar you can see different values with their legend colors.
    • In “%” mode data values are again stacked. This time, however, the total stacked value presents 100%, within the bar, you see individual values' percentages. You can think of this as multiple pie graphs, represented as bars.
    • Most of the charts also provide some interactivity:
      • Hovering on to values, you see a small table with item and data value in it for that category.
      • Heat map chart shows some information for the day as a tooltip.
      • You can hide or show a particular series in the graph by clicking their name in the legend.
      • You can zoom a graph by scrolling and pan by clicking and dragging.
