Collecting Attendance Data

To collect the attendance data, Accudemia provides you three ways, first using Classroom Sign-in Stations, the second option using Accudemia Roll Call feature, and third using an Apple device configured with the IACCU APP.

To collect the attendance in Accudemia using a Classroom Sign-in Station

  1. Create a sign in station for a classroom.
  2. Students must to sign in to his class using the station.
Administrators can edit the classes schedule if the class does not show.

All the sign-ins will be collected at SI Class Attendance> Attendance.

  1. Select your Semester/Term.
  2. Select your Class.
  3. Select your Class Session.
See this short video with an example on how to take attendance for a class using a Class Sign-in Station, since we configured the date, time, and location for the class then the system recognizes this information and each student gets signed-in/out to each class

To collect the attendance in Accudemia using a Roll Call:

You can view and edit the SI Class Attendance collected using the Class Attendance–>Attendance option(Roll Call), using this option you must select the class, then the specific session and then you would move the students from the 3 different areas(PRESENT STUDENTS, BEYOND CUT-OFF / EXCUSED ABSENT STUDENTS, ABSENT STUDENTS) using the action buttons in the top of the form.

See this short video with an example on how to take attendance for a class with 3 students, in the video 2 students are moved from the ABSENT to the PRESENT status, while a 3rd student is declared as TARDY for 5 minutes, following the same process you can move students around the different statuses
