Terms
Purpose: To define the start and end dates that are considered to be each term/semester for your college. This can be used for reporting purposes later and general organization on the Students', Tutors', or Instructors' Class Assignments/Registration.
How to Access: Administration > Terms
Adding a New Term/Semester
Click on the + New Term button. You will then be able to enter starting and ending dates for your term/semester.
The General Information tab includes:
- Name - Name of the term you want to add.
- Start Date - This is the beginning of the term you want to add.
- End Date - This is the End of the term you want to add.
Once finished click the Save Changes to continue.
Modifying a Term/Semester
To modify an existing term/semester, first click the term/semester in the list. Once in the General Information tab you will be able to change the Name, Start Date, and End Date accordingly and click the Save Changes button at the top of this screen to finish.
Deleting a Term/Semester
To remove a term/semester first select the term/semester in the list, and then click the Delete button at the top of this page. A message should then appear saying: Are you sure you want to delete the selected terms? click Yes to continue.
